Welcome!

"He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God"? Micah 6:8.

The Bible verse above has been a major influence for us in life and ministry and a catalyst for our work with Youth with a Mission. It has a delight to return to our roots after 13 years of being involved in other ministries that included, Oasis Trust, pastoring and planting the Truro Vineyard, and working with refugees from over 20 countries with Lutheran Family Services. At YWAM Denver (Denver, Colorado) we are involved in the training new missionaries with a passion for mercy ministries in restricted access countries and also administrate projects currently operating in Afghanistan, Jordan and Bosnia. This is a family ministry that involves all of us in a passion for the pastoral care and leadership development needs of those working on the field. This is combined with seeking to be intimate with God as we demonstrate the compassion of Christ as we work among the poor and vulnerable.

Emma and Alex continue to be home schooled as we show God's love in places like Mauritania, Albania, across the U.S.A and other parts of the world. The projects we are working on are already making a difference in the lives of homeless children, widows and young people though self-sufficiency driven programs including micro enterprise, medical centers and the arts. The potential for growth is huge and many new programs are being prepared over the next 3 years including China and Iraq.

The other aspect of our ministry is advocating and educating on the issue of human trafficking and we are part of the Colorado Network for Ending Human Trafficking (public awareness committee) and also serve on the local advisory board of Polaris (Anti-human trafficking organization). Phil also trains local law enforcement on human trafficking. In addition to train we also love to teach and are available to speak to local churches, YWAM bases and community organizations.

It's a joy to continue to be based in Denver among so many friends but it's also a joy to be connecting with long lost friends in other parts of the world.
